ResomationTM is an environmentally
responsible, flameless, water based "biocremationTM" process which sympathetically returns
the body to its constituent elements. It utilises and advances a naturally occuring alkaline hydrolysis reaction to rapidly "Bio-cremateTM " the body leaving behind a pure white bone ash which can be returned to loved ones.The
overall process is "patent applied."
Alkaline Hydrolysis takes place in the natural environment when bodies are buried in a shallow grave in the soil. Here,
although the reaction is propagated by soil bacteria, the process is slow taking sometimes years to complete. ResomationTM greatly speeds up the process using
an alkali/water mixture and a temperature of around 170 Celcius.Think of it as accelerating natural decomposition.

What is left after the process?
After ResomationTM the body is broken down into 2 constituents. The first of
these is an innocuous liquid containing the building blocks of life - amino acids, small peptides, sugars and salts. This
liquid contains no DNA and has no analytically detectable link to the original body. The second constituent is bone ash'.
The ash is pure calcium phosphate and although they maintain the structure of the bone they are very soft and easily
crushed into powder or "ash'. This ash can be returned to relatives as in cremation.
Is ResomationTM a proven technology?
There are already two similar systems installed in medical schools in the US, one of which is located in a very prestigious
clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Between them they have processed over one thousand bodies to date. Operators of the system
are very happy with the performance of the technology. The question is not does the process
